Loneliness.

O Loneliness !
O Foe !
O insufferable disease !
Thou hides't thy face
so effortlessly.

Thy masquerade mask,
Thy pupil-less eyes
stare so blankly
behind thy disguise.

O Loneliness !
O Foe !
How does't thou remain unhaunted
by tempests and storms
that unravels fear in
mortal minds
that parts the inseparable ?

How does't thou keep thy mind free
from images of death and plague ?
From images of murder and disease ?

O Loneliness !
O Insufferable disease !
As the clocks striketh a dozen,
thy masquerade shall come to cease
and your mask shalt be ripped from your face,
and all misery you've caused shalt freeze.

O Loneliness !
Thou shalt be discovered,
thy disguise shall fall free !
Thou shalt be embarassed by your nakedness.

Loneliness !
Thou shalt be lonely !
And all the pride you have in that,

Shalt Vanish.
